Hi Ian here from How 2 Burn Fat, so lets look at the claims made by Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle such as how quickly can you burn significant amounts of body fat and that bodybuilders and fitness models are the leanest athletes in the world. So here’s the How to Burn Fat take on it.

Tom Venuto from Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle was 3.7% body fat at one point (note: on the day of a contest) although that is a very low figure it is also NOT a healthy all round body fat percentage to constantly be at. However 8-9% body fat will still see you looking lean and ripped with six pack abs popping out. Venuto states, “that if you find out how bodybuilders, fitness models and figure competitors get so lean and you do the same thing, you will get the same results. It makes sense.”

However, there’s no magic solution here!

When you read Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle, you’ll soon learn that you won’t get six-pack abs or a body like a fitness model or burn fat fast by training for a few minutes a day and eating junk. You learn that in order to get lean and significantly and quickly burn belly fat you have to change your whole lifestyle and mindset. The fastest way to burn fat is by adopting new habits to replace the old ones that made you put on body fat in the first place. You soon learn that in order to ‘get ripped’ it takes a very regimented nutrition program and an incredible mindset.

When looking at the extensive Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle website, you’ll see the home page covered with testimonials from people of all ages (and sizes). I’m always a little sceptical about testimonials (especially with a fat burning program), as it’s impossible to be sure these testimonials/people are for real, and I felt that a little further research was in order. Firstly I tried a web search and came across the fact that Tom not only has a Burn The Fat Inner Circle Membership but also a free discussion forum called the Burn The Fat Facebook group, which to my amazement has several thousand members who support each other in order to implement their fat loss programs. You’ll also find several Burn The Fat Yahoo Groups too. As I mentioned earlier there is also a paid online support community, called the Burn The Fat Inner Circle, with thousands of members using the how to burn fat quickly system (Membership to this fat loss site is optional and doesn’t come with the Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle program).

With a little more online research, I found it quite easy to find positive reviews and before and after photos of people who have successfully used this how to burn fat fast site to quickly lose weight. l also found some YouTube videos and blogs devoted to chronicling the training journals and nutrition programs of those who want to find the best and quickest way to burn stomach fat.

I found it difficult to dispute that Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is one of the most established ‘how to burn belly fat fast’ programs online. Not only is third party proof all over the internet, this program has also been around for quite a while too (since 2002). I also know that only top quality fat loss programs survive that long on the web. And I also know that this method of fat burning techniques has worked for bodybuilders for decades.

So the main question then becomes, will it work for YOU?

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is a best seller and there’s really good evidence that it works for all. This is because Tom Venuto developed a technique of nutrition and workouts to suit YOUR individual body type. I also found that many of these burn body fat fast programs don’t work on an individual basis so this program will probably appeal most rather than a certain type of person.

I’ll make no bones about this that it takes effort and a significant time investment, but then burning body fat always demands that. It asks for focus, dedication and hard work to get significant, permanent and natural fat loss (as opposed to some of these rapid fat loss programs where you’re required to take drugs or supplements and where the weight is way more likely to come back and research shows that it may even increase!).

The main focus of the e-book is on optimum nutrition for burning body fat, and it requires counting calories and crunching numbers to create your fat loss menu plans. There’s a lot of value in that kind of precision, but this approach may not be for everyone. However with a little, simple application this process can change your life.

Many people prefer to just estimate portion sizes so Burn The Fat is probably more ideal for people who need specific structure, enjoy planning and are detail-oriented (accountants, engineers, math buffs and other analytical types will be in seventh heaven). If you like to know WHY you’re doing something instead of just being told WHAT to do, you’ll appreciate the detail in the 300+ pages. It’s definitely thorough, but education is the key to making a whole life change.

So here’s the bottom line:

If you want a quick fix weight loss solution, for example if you’re looking for what pill to take or if you’re not willing to exercise, then Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is probably not for you.

On the other hand, if you’ve tried all the ‘burn body fat’ trends and fads, if you really want to know the (sometimes uncomfortable) truth about fat loss and the best way to burn fat, if you have the discipline to make lifestyle changes, then you’ll find Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle to be an excellent investment that delivers what it promises – you burn off the fat, you keep your muscle and metabolism high and you don’t have to starve yourself to do it.

It may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely no scam. Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is a legitimate and effective fat loss program.

How to Burn Fat – Tip #1:  Don’t Do Loads of Crunches, Do All Over Body Exercises Instead

There are far too many so called ‘experts’ out there that tell you that in order to burn fat and get a flat stomach or six pack abs you have to do loads of crunches or sit-ups, some even still say that you have to train at low intensities for more than 2 hours per day. This is out of date stuff. All those lean ripped models and actors you see are performing short-sharp all over body workouts, yes crunches are part of the programme but they are a small part. You will get more fat burning and metabolism raising benefits by performing exercises like deadlifts or the barbell clean/squat/push and press. (I’ll add some pictures of all over-body workouts in upcoming how to burn fat posts)

How to Burn Fat -Tip #2: Do a Mix of Resistance and Cardio Training and Eat Clean Foods to Keep Your Metabolism High

Yes, the key to raising your metabolism and to keeping it there is to mix things up in order to optimally burn fat fast. It is better to train at high intensities for shorter periods than to go long and slow. Remember, long slow workouts will do nothing to keep your metabolism really high. But High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) sends your metabolism into high gear, burning body fat for many hours after your workout.

So include resistance/weight training, a mix of high intensity interval and yes, low intensity cardio workouts on separate days.

When it comes to burning fat fast I don’t like using the term diet, as it usually means torturing yourself with either starvation or just plain rubbish and boring foods that leave you hungry and back to square one at the end of it all too (In my research I have tried pretty much all of them including expensive fat loss supplements and have seen no results). The simple secret to fat loss  is to simply ‘eat clean’ foods, just include more daily lean protein such as eggs, poultry, beef, fish and pulses, but also include fibrous carbohydrates such as root vegetables and salad greens and avoid all processed fast foods and partially hydrogenated oils. You can include a cheat meal (a little of what you like) once per week and even that will work in your favour, so yes you can cheat and still lose body fat.

So remember this important term when working towards your fat loss goals – ‘you cannot out-train a bad diet!’

In my review I always recommend that you adjust to a new lifestyle rather than make quick changes that has you reverting back to bad habits, so with Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle program don’t just buy it but really commit it. If you have a copy then you’ll already know that that the guidelines are easy to follow, the fat loss workouts are short but really effective, and the science behind thefat burning nutrition (not a diet!) keeps your blood sugar levels in the optimum fat burning zone which turns your body into a fat burning furnace. Follow Tom Venuto’s simple step by step guide and you will see excellent fat burning results. I certainly did.

This is probably the most important of the three tips by the way, because if it hadn’t been for The Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle program, I’d still only be dreaming about being lean and having six pack abs..

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle makes some pretty outrageous burn fat fast claims, it also carries lots of larger-than-life testimonials which often leave me sceptical, also the program costs more than your average hardcover book. So when I scrolled through Tom Venuto’s (very long) official website, my mind was racing with questions, wondering ‘just what is the catch here?’ and is this a legitimate program? But I had to admit, the concept behind this how to burn belly fat fast program was very intriguing.

It’s getting harder every day to distinguish the legitimate how to burn fat fast – fat loss programs from the ones that are nothing but scams and snake oil, you know the ones that offer fat loss meal plans that offer you nothing but fat storing high GI foods all the time and constant ab-crunching workouts that get you absolutely nowhere, so…lets put Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle, to the test.

How to Burn Fat – Research Findings

Firstly I checked out the author. Tom Venuto is someone whom I’d heard of before and has a good reputation in the fat loss field. I’d actually class him as an authority in the fat burning field alongside the eminent Mike Geary author of The Truth About Six Pack Abs or Jon Benson creator of The Every Other Day Diet and 7 Minute Muscle (and believe me there also are a lot out there whom I would not class as anywhere near an authority in the fat loss field). 

Venuto has been featured in interviews on hundreds of websites as well as in magazines such as Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness, Ironman, Men’s Exercise and Men’s Fitness. Tom is also the author of a hardcover national best-seller, The Body Fat Solution (Penguin/Avery books). There was even an article about his latest book in of all things ‘Oprah Magazine’!

Impressively Venuto is also living proof, he is a successful bodybuilder – in fact, his whole system is based on implemeting the safe and ethical “fat-burning secrets of bodybuilders and fitness models.”  He’s not afraid to show pictures of himself on his site as well, and you can clearly see that he really does walk the walk, he is beyond good shape, the guy is ripped, fat free and displays amazing six-pack abs.  You’d be tempted to think “Steroids” except that Tom Venuto states that he is a lifetime natural athlete and has competed in drug-tested competitions for more than 20 years.

After a little more research, I found that Burn The Fat was initially released in 2002 and has been the number 1 e-book best-seller for 4 years in a row. Most internet weight loss programs haven’t even been around that long, let alone topped the charts that long. Also, national newspapers publishers and major magazines like Men’s Fitness don’t give the time of day promoting or consulting with fly-by-night internet scammers, so there is some real credibility to this fat loss product.
